Frost's swift response restores connectivity solution in just two hours

The Frost team was recently approached by one of our food production customers who urgently required a temporary connectivity solution due to the loss of Point-to-Point Wi-Fi between their main building and a secondary building.

 

After a thorough assessment, our team determined that one of the Point-to-Point devices had failed due to a power outage, and the connection needed to be restored by the end of the day to minimise disruption and support critical daily operations. 



Understanding the urgency of the situation, we decided to run a temporary outdoor CAT6 cable overhead while awaiting the arrival of replacement units. 

 

Normal service was restored quickly, with the customer back up and running within two hours of our initial site visit.
